Question by k.erdahl: Survey: what are popular/most purchased pet accessories/items?
I am wondering what are popular pet items/accessories that pet owners buy frequently? Leashes, treats, outfits, etc….what are they? I live near a small town and out pet stores are 45 miles away so I was thinking of making popular pet items/accessories available for sale a little more closer to home. Any ideas? Thanks.

Food. Every dog and cat needs that to stay alive.

That’s a good idea. I used to live in a rural town, and our local petstore, though tiny, was so helpful!
Definitely food and treats, leashes, toys, cat litter, aquariums/accessories, bird cages, bird supplies. Hay for rabbits and guinea pigs. Hamster/gerbil/mouse/rat food/supplies.
Maybe a few dog outfits, especially if it’s cold where you are.
Water/food bowls.
